Overcome Evil With Good
WOW, WHAT A CRAZY TIME! The only thing that is constant and sure is the Lord and His way of doing things. We must be anchored in the Lord, find our hope in Him.
Sometimes you just need to balance the time you spend listening to the news and reports because sadly it changes all the time, causing emotions to fluctuate all the time. Yes, stay informed just not all the time.
Jimmie and I take breaks from social media sometimes other than our live stream on Sunday mornings at 8 am CST and Wednesday evening at 6 pm CST, my blog and my outside, fire pit, shoe/boot, Jimmie pictures because we hope that they make you smile.
Don’t get caught up in all the rhetoric, noise ( rhetoric means: in writing or speech the undue use of exaggeration or display: bombast: high-sounding language with little meaning, used to impress people. And I like to add to that, (to depress people).
Please this is NOT a political statement. It just means there are so many voices out there that we must make sure that our priority is to listen to the voice that can bring answers and solutions to all the turmoil. God is speaking and He speaks the Bible.
We must let our barometer be God’s Word!
Jesus said it this way: I and my Father we are one. Jesus said, I only do those things I see my Father doing and another translation says: Jesus speaking, I only say those things my Father is saying. We can hear the voice of the Lord……….

DON’T LISTEN SO MUCH TO ALL THE RHETORIC, but let’s follow the Voice of the Lord
Romans 12:21 NKJV Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Jimmie has been ministering on this verse for a couple of months or so. I have put a few different translations below just to meditate on……..
Romans 12:21 (NLT) 21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.
Romans 12:21 (TPT) 21 Never let evil defeat you, but defeat evil with good.[a]
Romans 12:21 (AMP) 21 Do not be overcome and conquered by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let’s don’t react to situations, but let’s act upon His Word!! And let’s pray for the Holy Spirit to go out and work the works of the Father, The Holy Spirit can accomplish more in one instant then we can in a lifetime.

I know we have to be wise and stand for justice but we can do that by walking in truth and praying! But never by violent actions.
GOD IS SO FOR YOU IT IS RIDICULOUS! NOPE, THIS DOES NOT CHANGE EVEN WHEN CIRCUMSTANCES DO! God is eternal, everlasting, never changing, always true. Things in this life are temporal meaning they are subject to change.
HE, (Jesus and His way of doing things is our PEACE!
