      <image:title>Blog - Dream Again</image:title>
<image:caption>Good morning everybody! I hope you will join us every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights at 6 pm CST for Facebook live on Jimmie Bratcher page. Talking about “Don’t Take Your Dreams to the Grave.” sometimes some music and special guests. Let’s talk about our dreams. Maybe today you say, “I don’t have any dreams,” or maybe you say, “The dreams I had have come to pass.” Well, I would say to you, “Are you still breathing? Then: DREAM AGAIN.” As long as you are breathing, God has a dream for you. Dreams are an important part of our future and the future of others. We can and should be interested in the dreams of others but not at the expense of us not fulfilling the dreams God has placed in our hearts to fulfill. There may be a season where you feel your dreams are on hold or on the shelf so to speak. One sure way to know if your dreams are from the Lord is they always involve the family and that always brings good things such as salvation, health, provision, protection, and healing to others. Let’s think about the life of Joseph (in Genesis chapters 37-47). He had a couple of dreams that he shared with his family, they were not thrilled, his brothers hated him and sold him into slavery. (It’s not always the right time to share your dreams.) Joseph’s life had many ups and downs. He had good seasons in his life and bad seasons as well. Yes, bad things like these happen in this world at the work of human hands, but Joseph’s dreams came true when he became interested in the dreams of others. God never brings harm, hate, destruction or calamity to people. He wants us to experience His love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, health, healing, deliverance and the list goes on… Only good things. He is a good, good Father. The Bible teaches us that we will experience God based on how we perceive Him. Our Friend Dr. James P Richards says, “WE TEND TO UNDERSTAND GOD IN A WAY THAT JUSTIFIES OUR INTENTIONS.” And that this is true concerning the world at large: we are never fully experiencing anyone as they really are as much as how we perceive them. So my question is, how do you see God? Is He a judge, ruler, waiting for you to mess up? Does He bring calamity, hardship, destruction or do you believe what the Bible declares Him to be? Remember bad things happen because we live in a fallen world, but God is always planning a way through it. He is planning a way of escape. When we establish that God is good and good only, then we can see things more clearly. We can have good eyes and believe in good things. I hope this brings you encouragement today and I hope you’re dreaming. GOD IS SO FOR YOU IT IS RIDICULOUS! My precious granddaughter Mikaela Truxal helped me write this blog today and my heart is overjoyed. She is going to college to study Elementary Education. I’m so proud of her. She is a dream come true. Blessings, Sherri</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - What Is Religion? - What Is Religion?</image:title>
<image:caption>Today I have a couple of things in my heart to share with you! If you have been watching Jimmie on Facebook live, he is doing a series on his book, ”DON’T TAKE YOUR DREAMS TO THE GRAVE.” (It’s a great book of encouragement). Those quotes have been echoing in my mind ever since so I wanted to share them with you, they are truly life-changing. He asks the question : What is Religion? RELIGION is the dry, empty prison of man-made rules and regulations that masquerade as a relationship. Religion locks us into the straight jacket of others’ expectations. Don’t get into performance or comparison! God will help us make any adjustments and repair in our lives that are needed. So live free! Wow just wow, let that soak in a while!! Have you ever been in a place where you felt the masquerade? I have, and it’s not life-giving, brings no joy, no peace, but only an empty feeling of frustration! Have you ever felt like you were trapped in what other’s expectations were of you? Comparison and performance are two killers of joy in your life! They never bring satisfaction because there is never a way to fulfill them! About the time you think you have the rules have changed and the frustration continues. Religion is different than Relationship! What is relationship? RELATIONSHIP: A relationship with Jesus frees us to become the people we were meant to be, fulfilled, and free! God our Father loves us and He created us with feelings so we would feel things. To feel the joy that fills our hearts because of His love, peace because He is our peace, grace, and help in our time of need and so much more! He wants us to experience Him. Not have a dry bones experience. In the garden, in the beginning of all creation, God created man to have a relationship with Him! A Relationship with Him is personal! Not cold and indifferent! But loving, kind, and sure. It’s not a roll of the dice, sometimes He loves me, sometimes He doesn’t. He always loves us. John 8:36 New Living Translation (NLT) 36 So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. Not free to sin but free from sin or the things that would bind us. I hope you are encouraged! Remember: HE always loves us! Our character may need some changes and adjustments but HE always loves us. Don’t get into performance or comparison! God will help us make any adjustments and repairs in our lives! So live free! Remember God loves you and He IS SO FOR YOU IT IS RIDICULOUS!! Nobody can do you but you! Be the best you that you can be and show up in life! ENJOY LIFE. Blessings, Sherri</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Are you getting this down in your heart?</image:title>
<image:caption>I hope you are, for out of the abundance of your heart your mouth speaks. It is so important what we allow in our heart. If we do all that we do, from a heart that is full of knowing how much our Father loves us, how we respond in life will become effortless. Luke 6:45 [Full Chapter] The [intrinsically] good man produces what is good and honorable and moral out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart; and the [intrinsically] evil man produces what is wicked and depraved out of the evil [in his heart]; for his mouth speaks from the overflow of his heart. I hope that you don’t make your relationship too complicated with your heavenly Father and His Son Jesus, your brother… This next chapter always puts things in perspective for me. He lays things out so clearly. He not only is instructing us but He is helping us to do it. All these things put us on a level ground and bring much satisfaction and peace in our lives. We are all significant to our Father and we all have a significant part to play so we should not be comparing ourselves but just be who we are intended to be. Nobody can do you but you! Romans 12 The Message (MSG) Place Your Life Before God 12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. 3 I’m speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him. 4-6 In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t. 6-8 If you preach, just preach God’s Message, nothing else; if you help, just help, don’t take over; if you teach, stick to your teaching; if you give encouraging guidance, be careful that you don’t get bossy; if you’re put in charge, don’t manipulate; if you’re called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don’t let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. Keep a smile on your face. 9-10 Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle. 11-13 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality. 14-16 Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down. Get along with each other; don’t be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody. 17-19 Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.” 20-21 Our Scriptures tell us that if you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch, or if he’s thirsty, get him a drink. Your generosity will surprise him with goodness. Don’t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good. The point is we live by a higher way. You have heard me say it many times, “God has a way of doing things and it works.” Anybody can blow up and get angry and react to a bad situation but we want to create something else. This will flow out of our hearts effortlessly because of who we are, not what we do. We want the peaceful fruit of righteousness flowing from our lives. We are presently living in a society of complaint. What can we create that is different than this? I hope you are encouraged. GOD IS SO FOR YOU IT IS RIDICULOUS! Blessings, Sherri</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - Come To Me</image:title>
<image:caption>I hope you are all moving through this season with Peace and Grace. Everything is gonna be alright, it may look some different, but we will all be OK as long as we trust The Love of God. I want to share a verse with you that has been stirring in my heart and has been helping me stay in peace and I hope it helps you also. Matthew 11:28-30“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” I just want to point out a few clear points in this verse. Jesus asks “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? The thing I noticed first, is if you are tired and burned out, religion won’t help. Jesus always gives the answer or solution to what He is asking. Religion isn’t the solution, relationship with Him is the answer. As He says in this verse. “Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life.” The next point: Jesus continues with “LEARN THE UNFORCED RHYTHMS OF GRACE.” Wow just wow! It’s unforced and a rhythm. Think of that, unforced means without moves without effort, rhythm flows, and then He adds Grace with it! Grace is God’s Favor and abilities to recover our lives. Then He finishes with “Walk with me and work with me- watch how I do it. ( Jesus is saying, Let me model it for you). It’s like giving us the answers in the middle of the test, Well, I don’t know about you but I say, “Sign me up!” I hope you are encouraged today! GOD IS SO FOR YOU IT IS RIDICULOUS! Love and Blessings, Sherri</image:caption>

<image:title>About - Having served in one of the fastest-growing churches in the Midwest, Sherri’s message to all is faith-building and full of the life of God, which enables us to live a life of joy and victory in Jesus Christ. From a shattered past Sherri was devastated by substance abuse which ultimately led to the demise of her marriage. Although divorced, friends, and family continued to pray, and God began to draw her, and her ex-husband Jimmie back together. Though it made no sense, they decided to re-marry, and during their second wedding ceremony, they both knelt and asked Jesus to save them. Then the miracle happened. Jesus invaded their world and from that moment things began to change. Sherri has been married to Jimmie since 1976, and they have three children Jessica, Jason, and Amanda, and two great son-in-laws, Chris who is married to Amanda and LeRoy who is married to Jessica. They have nine grandchildren Mikaela, Zayne, Breanna, Jake, Kelley, Mat, Seth, Aaron, and Jacob. Sherri’s family is her most prized treasure and she calls them all her Gifts from God. From Sherri’s practical, yet profound, experience, she assists everyone in overcoming wrong mindsets, and wrong heart beliefs that can keep us from experiencing freedom in life.</image:title>
